COMPANY OVERVIEW & HISTORY

Molefe-Dlepu Attorneys and Conveyancers is an independent and dynamic law firm comprising mainly of  women lawyers who provide professional legal services to individuals, associations, groups, private and public companies, and government departments.  The firm conducts business primarily in South Africa.

 

The major client base includes institutional and corporate clients who wish to draw upon the recognized expertise the firm possesses. Accordingly, our clients benefit from the following aspects of our experience in the legal field:

• Training and developing of newly admitted and candidate attorneys;

• Participating in pro-bono initiatives arranged by the Law Society;

• Providing internship programs by providing in-house training for final year law students.

Our firm has provided training facilities for young Lawyers mainly women from

previously disadvantaged communities since its formation. In addition to this, many

of the young Lawyers we have trained have been attracted to opening their own

practices, and others joining our firm as Professional Assistants.

We fund our young Lawyers to attend comprehensive training programs and sessions on all elements of practice skills by attending lectures both internal and external.  Molefe-Dlepu   Attorneys needs the support of clients to feed work to its candidate and professional staff to assist in developing them and enhancing their knowledge.

The firm’s business philosophy is to become the country’s preferred independent Black Women Owned Law Firm by providing superior legal service  in every case.

 

In certain instances, we believe in strengthening our knowledge and resource base by developing working relationships with other law firms, both locally and internationally either in consortia or association. Our firm’s cross -jurisdiction  knowledge  is further  enhanced by seconding staff to international associates’ offices when working jointly  on  a client project  more especially  the National  Bar Association members in which the Black  Lawyers Association (SA) hasan  exchange programme relationship.

 

We endeavor to grow our profile internationally on the following basis:
